WriteType Testing
Saturday, 01 May 2010 16:53
WriteType is at a stage where it would be helpful to have additional testing and input.  It is currently installable only as a Python package; I will try to put Windows builds online as they become available. (As of May 3rd, Windows builds are available as well, but I have no idea what I'm doing, so running it on there will never be as high quality as running it on GNU/Linux.)  If you are interested in helping out, I can find something for almost anyone to do, so please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Updates
Saturday, 19 December 2009 16:04
It has been a very long time since I have updated this site, especially the page on my music.  I am pleased to say that everything is up to date as of this morning.  I also reworked some parts of the site that did not work as I wanted them to.  If you find any broken links, please let me know.

Mr. Beat released
Saturday, 15 August 2009 14:15
I have released the first version Mr. Beat, the unoriginal talking metronome.  I designed it for my Maemo PDA, but it will work on any computer with Python, PyGTK, and PyGame.

rSchoolToday Wrapper - No More Javascript!
Tuesday, 26 May 2009 22:09

rSchoolToday is an example of one of those companies that can really get on your nerves.  On their CMS, all of the menus are powered by javascript.  With javascript disabled, the user is unable to even navigate the most basic features of the site.  It is impossible to bookmark pages as well, because the javascript links use post data to make the requests.  About six months ago, I started working on a wrapper for my school's website, powered by rSchoolToday (and javascript).  I just found it a few hours ago, and thought that it may be of interest to others who share my frustrations.  While it is is not perfect and probably shouldn't be used in a production environment yet, it allows individuals to navigate rSchoolToday websites with even a text based browser.  Take a look if you are interested.
