Welcome. I am currently teaching Physics for ninth grade and chemistry for tenth graders under our “Physics first” curriculum. I’m teaching the accelerated sections at both high schools, Chan in the morning and Chaska in the afternoon.
I am generally available at Chaska from 7:00 am until about 12:00. In the afternoon I’m at Chanhassen until about 5:00. The best way to contact me is through e-mail, although I do check voice mail each day.
The other half of my job right now is professional development.
I have been at Eastern Carver County School since 1995. I have also taught at Delano High School, The International School of Minnesota, Waconia High School, Humboldt-St. Vincent High School, the Albert Lea Summer Science Program, the University of Minnesota, and Hamline University (through MnSTEP).
I have a BA in chemistry through Macalester College, an MA in Curriculum and Instruction (Science Education) through the University of Minnesota, and am currently finishing my K-12 administrative licensure program through the U of M.
