Greetings and welcome to the 2008-2009 school year! I am excited to be starting my third year teaching in the Core Skills program at Chaska High School. We also have a wonderful team of paraprofessionals to support the students throughout the day.
The Core Skills program focuses on teaching basic academic skills, social skills, and vocational skills and applying those skills to everyday life. The students will have the opportunity to practice these skills in a variety of elective courses and on community outings. Students will gain vocational skills through various work experiences in the school, community, or both.
